A Brief Bio
A native of Auburn, California, located in the Sierra foothills between Lake Tahoe and Sacramento. The son of two educators, my father taught art at Colfax High School and established the school’s first photography program. This influence helped spark an early creative interest and inspired an intense grade school “career” of yearbook shooting and student art shows. Shortly after graduating from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, I branched out into the graphic arts. Since that time, I have worked both independently and in-house as designer, photographer, art and creative director for a range of industry leaders including Marriott International, Caesars Entertainment, Porsche Cars North America and the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM). During my career I’ve had the good fortune to receive some notable recognition, such as Fujifilm's Masterpiece Award, several ADDYs for design & photography and prints featured in the Professional Photographers of America’s international touring exhibition. I even dabbled in small-town politics for several years as a city councilman and mayor of Colfax, California.
Currently splitting my time between home-based studios in Auburn, California and Milwaukie, Oregon. I work with clients throughout North America.
